I’m the owner of Cutting Edge Photography in beautiful Iron Mountain, MI — your go-to spot for high school senior portraits, sports, and promotional photography.
I’m a Photographic Craftsman (Cr. Photog.) with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and I’ve been lucky enough to travel across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. as a speaker, educator, and industry ambassador. Before diving into photography full-time, I actually came from the cutthroat business world and taught college business, marketing, and economics — which still helps me run my studio with a creative yet practical mindset.
I’ve been honored to work with some of the biggest names in the photography world, serving on the Miller’s Professional Imaging Speaker Team, as a Flashpoint Lighting Ambassador, Savage Universal Featured Photographer, Evoto Ambassador, and Fundy Storyteller.
When I’m not behind the camera or on a stage, you’ll probably find me watching sports— I’ve spent 11 years coaching Little League Softball, Travel Softball, and Youth Football. Watching kids grow, learn, and build confidence reminds me why I love mentoring and teaching so much — whether it’s athletes or photographers.
